END TIMES OUTFITTER — TERMS OF SALE, PRODUCT WARNINGS & CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING, RECEIVING, OR USING ANY PRODUCTS FROM END TIMES OUTFITTER.

By purchasing, accepting, receiving, opening, carving, cutting, prepping, striking, or igniting any product or tool provided by End Times Outfitter (“Company,” “we,” “us”), the purchaser, gift recipient, transferee, and ultimate end-user (“Purchaser,” “Recipient,” “User”) agree to the following Terms of Sale, Safety Instructions, and Product Guidelines.

PART 1: GENERAL TERMS OF SALE, TOOL HANDLING, PRE-ORDERS & TRANSFERS

1. Cutting Tools, Strikers & Tool Handling Safety Many products offered by End Times Outfitter—including standalone tools, the EDC Fire Kit, and the EDC Survival Kit—contain sharp components, pocket tools, saws, or specialized scrapers (such as the Standard Spark Gauge Striker and Spark Gauge Striker v2.0).

  • Spark Gauge Striker Variations & Features:

    • Spark Gauge Striker v2.0: Features dual beveled edges engineered specifically for aggressive tinder scraping, fine carving, and high-volume ferrocerium spark generation. Both beveled edges are intentionally sharpened and act as functional cutting tools.

    • Standard Spark Gauge Striker: Features a continuous beveled edge around the entire perimeter of the striker to maximize usable scraping and striking surface area. Because the sharpened edge extends around the full tool profile, users must exercise heightened caution regarding finger placement and grip.

  • Assumption of Cutting & Carving Risks: Users acknowledge that handling sharp edge tools involves inherent risks of physical injury, including blade slips, cuts, puncture wounds, and eye injuries from flying sparks or debris.

  • Personal Responsibility & Safety Gear: Users are responsible for exercising proper tool safety techniques, keeping cutting movements directed away from the body, maintaining safe hand placement when gripping full-perimeter or dual-beveled tools, and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye protection and cut-resistant gloves.

  • Limitation of Tool Claims: End Times Outfitter and its suppliers are not responsible for personal injuries, medical costs, or damages resulting from the handling, misuse, blade slips, or sharpening of strikers, scrapers, saws, or related hand tools.

2. Pre-Order & Pre-Production Fulfillment Schedules From time to time, End Times Outfitter offers products available for pre-order, as well as survival kits, fire kits, or bundles containing pre-production, small-batch, or custom-manufactured components.

  • Estimated Shipping Windows: Delivery dates and shipping windows provided for pre-order items or orders containing pre-production components are estimates based on projected production schedules and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

  • Manufacturing & Supply Chain Variability: By placing a pre-order or purchasing items with pre-production components, the Purchaser acknowledges that small-batch hand assembly, material sourcing, custom tooling, and quality control checks may affect final fulfillment timelines.

  • Combined Shipments: Orders containing both in-stock items and pre-order or pre-production items will be shipped together once all components pass final quality inspection, unless stated otherwise at checkout.

3. Application to Gift Recipients & Transferees If you purchase, acquire, or receive any product from End Times Outfitter as a gift, promotional item, or secondary transfer:

  • Applicability to End-Users: These Terms of Sale, safety instructions, and product guidelines apply to any individual who receives, holds, carves, breaks apart, strikes, or ignites these products or kit components.

  • Purchaser Responsibility to Share Safety Information: The original Purchaser agrees to pass along all enclosed safety instructions, packaging warning labels, and a link to these terms to any recipient prior to use.

4. Age Requirements Products sold by End Times Outfitter are intended for purchase and use by responsible individuals aged 18 or older. Minors should only handle, carve, strike, or ignite these products under the direct supervision of an adult parent or legal guardian who assumes responsibility for their safe operation.

5. General Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, End Times Outfitter, its owners, and suppliers shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including property damage, wildfire cleanup costs, thermal burns, cuts, or personal injury—resulting from the ignition, carving, preparation, storage, transfer, or misuse of any product, tool, or kit component.

6. Governing Law These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of manufacture, without regard to conflict of law principles.

PART 2: FIERCE FIRE & TINDER TORCH COMBUSTIBLE PRODUCTS

1. Product Nature & Fire Safety Fierce Fire starters and Tinder Torch products are concentrated, highly flammable combustion aids crafted from natural plant fibers and beeswax. They are engineered to produce intense heat and long-lasting open flames for starting campfires, wood stoves, and emergency fires.

2. Important Notice Regarding Product Name & Non-Handheld Use Despite the inclusion of the word “Torch” in the product name Tinder Torch, this product and Fierce Fire are STRICTLY STATIONARY FIRE TINDERS AND COMBUSTION AIDS.

  • Stationary Use Only (No Handheld Operation): Users agree NEVER to hold, carry, wave, mount on a stick, or transport an ignited Tinder Torch or Fierce Fire block in hand as a portable light source, signal torch, or handheld flame.

  • Melt & Drip Hazard: Natural wax liquifies during combustion. Carrying an ignited unit creates a severe risk of hot wax dripping onto hands, skin, clothing, or surrounding dry brush, which can cause thermal burns, clothing ignition, or wildland fires.

  • Overhead Clearance: Users agree NEVER to ignite or place these products beneath low-hanging tree branches, pine canopies, dry overhangs, or dense vegetation. Heat and flames rise rapidly and can ignite overhead limbs.

  • Misuse Acknowledgment: Any attempt to hold, carry, or operate Tinder Torch or Fierce Fire as a handheld torch constitutes product misuse, and the User assumes responsibility for any resulting personal injuries, thermal burns, or property damage.

3. Fire Containment & Extinguishing Instructions

  • Approved Fire Surfaces: Combustion aids must only be ignited inside established campfire rings, wood stoves, or non-flammable fire pits clear of surrounding dry debris, overhead branches, or volatile accelerants.

  • DO NOT USE WATER TO EXTINGUISH MOLTEN WAX: Because these products contain natural beeswax, do not pour water directly onto active or molten wax tinder. Water applied to hot liquid wax causes splattering and flare-ups. Always keep dry dirt, sand, or a metal smothering container on hand to smother the flame directly. Water may be used to cool down surrounding coals or wood after the wax starter has fully burned off or been smothered. Never leave an ignited starter unattended.

  • Cutting & Preparation Safety: Exercise care when cutting, shaving, segmenting, or scraping dense tinder materials to prevent tool slips or material fragmentation. Always cut or scrape away from fingers, hands, and body.

PART 3: FRICTION FIRE TRAINING SETS & RAW TIMBER STOCK

1. Outdoor Use & Safety Guidelines Friction fire crafting and timber carving carry inherent risks, including open flames, smoke inhalation, and lacerations from hand tools.

  • Operating Environment: Users agree to use these materials outdoors on non-flammable, fire-safe surfaces (such as mineral soil, stone, or gravel) clear of dry vegetation or structures, with immediate access to fire suppression tools (dirt, sand, or water).

  • Voluntary Assumption of Risk: Users handling these materials acknowledge and accept the physical risks involved in timber carving, friction spinning, and ember production.

2. Timber Carving Safety Spindle blanks and hearth boards require manual shaping prior to use.

  • Users agree to exercise proper carving safety and use protective gear, including eye protection and cut-resistant gloves, while whittling or scoring timber stock.

  • End Times Outfitter is not responsible for injuries resulting from tool handling, blade slips, or carving techniques.

3. Educational Product Notice Friction fire depends on environmental conditions, ambient humidity, timber prep, and physical technique. End Times Outfitter provides dry raw timber stock to support learning, but cannot guarantee that every user will successfully produce an ember. Unsuccessful friction fire attempts do not constitute a product defect.

PART 4: EDC FIRE KIT & EDC SURVIVAL KIT COMPONENT SAFETY GUIDELINES

End Times Outfitter offers specialized modular kits, including the EDC Fire Kit and the EDC Survival Kit. By opening, carrying, or using either kit or any enclosed components, you agree to the specific safety guidelines governing each item:

  • Spark Gauge Striker V2 (Dual Beveled Edges): Features two distinct beveled edges engineered for ferrocerium rod striking, material shaving, and tinder prep. Always strike away from the body and eyes, maintain secure grip control, and use cut-resistant gloves and protective eyewear to prevent injuries from tool slips or spark shower debris.

  • Standard Spark Gauge Striker (Full Perimeter Bevel): Features a sharpened beveled edge running around the full perimeter of the tool. Users must exercise extra caution when positioning fingers to avoid contact with active edges during heavy pressure scraping.

  • Tactical Armor & Protective Storage Cases: Designed to protect internal contents against environmental exposure when properly latched. Users are responsible for ensuring latches and seals are clear of debris prior to exposure.

  • Tinder Torch & Fierce Fire Combustion Aids: Highly flammable wax-and-fiber products. Subject to all fire safety rules, non-water smothering instructions, and the prohibition against handheld use detailed in Part 2.

  • Rechargeable USB-C Flashlight (Lithium Battery): Powered by an internal rechargeable lithium battery. Do not puncture, expose to extreme heat, submerge while the charging port is open, or disassemble.

  • Solid Copper Snare Wire: Intended for emergency survival utility, binding, and outdoor applications where permitted by law. Users are responsible for compliance with local regulations.

  • Water Purification Tablets: Follow enclosed dosage and contact-time instructions carefully. End Times Outfitter is not responsible for waterborne illness resulting from improper tablet dosage, insufficient contact time, or heavily contaminated water sources.

  • Pocket-Sized Hemostatic Agent: Designed for temporary emergency control of external bleeding. User assumes responsibility for proper application and seeking professional medical attention.

  • Custom Sandpaper & Sharpening Media: Designed for maintaining tool edges. Always stroke cutting edges away from fingers and hands when sharpening.

  • Button Compass: Intended for general orientation. Should not be relied upon as the sole navigation tool in critical wilderness situations.

  • Custom Sized Notepaper & Pen: For record-keeping and field notes. Keep dry to ensure legibility.

  • Compressed Toiletry Tabs: Expand rapidly when exposed to liquids. Keep stored in original packaging and away from small children.
